Three Pounds in my Pocket is the first series to document the post-war social history of British South Asians in their own voices.

The Guardian called it “epic and captivating” describing it as “the radio series preserving the nation’s south Asian past.” The Independent said it was “absorbing and moving,” and the Times “excellent.” Gillian Reynolds in the Telegraph said “it was worth the licence fee alone.”

It is currently on series 5.
